The Betty Kwan Chinn Day Center provided phone and mail services, computer access, employment readiness and referrals, a job hire clothing closet, and children's summer and after-school programs. The Day Center contains a commercial kitchen where all food is prepared. Any person can walk in, have a case management interview and start accessing services. Betty's Family Shelter receives all residents based on a referral from the County. The shelter provides family housing and meals for up to 6 months, with intensive case management services to set goals and assess progress with securing employment and housing. Betty's Medical Respite accepts homeless patients from Providence Hospital that are provided up to a 21 day stay to recover from illness/injury following discharge. Patients are provided 3 meals a day by Betty, Providence provides medical care and case management. Betty's Annex provides emergency shelter for single women and women with children. Referrals come from the County or at the discretion of Betty. The Annex provides housing and meals for up to six months, with intensive case management services to set goals and assess progress with securing employment and housing. Betty's Village is comprised of five retrofitted shipping containers capable of housing up to 40 chronically homeless individuals, providing food and case management services to all residents. It is one of the few shelter in the northwest to allow animals. Betty's Blue Angel outreach provides support to people that are usually beyond any social safety net. These are people who live outside or in their vehicles.
