The North Coast Growers Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, making significant contributions to the health and wellness of our community. 2019 is our 41st season of operating farmers markets in Humboldt County. Working collaboratively, NCGA members and staff represent agricultural interests in Humboldt County through community partnerships that promote local and healthy foods, programs that increase access to local food, participation in local, state and federal policy-making and the coordination of our 7 certified farmers markets. NCGA farmers markets feature only Humboldt County grown, GMO-free produce, meat, eggs, honey, wine, plants, flowers, fiver and other agricultural products. Farmers must personally grow what they sell at market. Only the farmer, their family members or employees are allowed to sell at the market, so customers are sure to buy direct from the source, and receive first-hand information about products available. Customers with EBT cards are welcome and Market Match is offered. NCGA farmers markets are community gathering places with live music, prepared food and fun activities for all.
