About

The Humboldt Senior Resource Center (HSRC) is committed to ensuring the best possible quality of life for seniors, their caregivers and their families. We support healthy aging and encourage independence, dignity and well-being for all older adults in our community through a comprehensive array of health, nutrition, and educational services as well as opportunities for friendship and social interaction. Our programs include Adult Day Health Care, a state-licensed therapeutic day program; Alzheimer's Services; Behavioral Health Services, providing older adults with a holistic approach to wellness; Heritage Cafés in Arcata, Eureka and Fortuna; Meals on Wheels Redwood Coast; the Multipurpose Senior Services Program (MSSP) that provides care management services for frail seniors; Redwood Coast PACE, a Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly that provides comprehensive medical care and support services; Redwood Coast Village, a membership-based program that helps members be independent with the help of volunteer-provided services; senior activities and services; and the monthly Senior News newspaper. We have numerous philanthropic and volunteer opportunities. For more information or to make a donation, call 707-443-9747, email info@humsenior.org, or visit us on the internet at www.humsenior.org.
