Humboldt Bay Social Club is under new ownership and is marking the occasion with a celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony on October 4. There will be live music, food and more. Here’s what you need to know: The band will play from 4-8 p.m. The Greater Eureka Chamber and Arcata Chamber of Commerce will cohost an official ribbon cutting at 5:30. From there, the celebration will continue until closing time at 10 p.m. Get in on the fun and head on down to Humboldt Bay Social at 900 New Navy Base Road in Samoa.
