Humboldt's Housing Crisis
Humboldt's Housing Crisis
Thursday, May 25, 2023 (9:00 AM - 10:30 AM) (PDT)
Description
In a recent survey, 54% of Greater Eureka Chamber members told us their employees struggle to find adequate, affordable housing; 49% told us housing issues directly impact their ability to hire and retain employees.
The lack of housing in Humboldt County is nearing crisis proportions, with projected population growth making it even more challenging to adequately house current and future Humboldt residents.
Join us for an in-depth look at our area’s urgent housing needs, current housing projects in the works, and a look to the future.
